New Delhi: A 19-year-old Delhi University student was allegedly raped and blackmailed by her friend in Hauz Khas area of South Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
On the basis of the girl's police complaint lodged on September 5, Brij Mohan alias Saurabh was arrested on Tuesday, police said.
The girl, a student of Gargi college, claimed that Mohan had also made an obscene video of her with which he was trying to extort money from her.
After the medical examination of the girl, an FIR under various sections of the IPC was registered and Mohan was arrested, police said.
