The capital was greeted by a sunny morning on Friday with the minimum temperature settling at 7.7 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast a pleasant day ahead.
While shallow fog enveloped the city early on Friday, visibility at 8.30 am was a good 1,500 meters, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Day will be pleasant day with maximum temperature expected to be around 22 degrees Celsius, the official said.
Thursday's maximum temperature was also a pleasant 21.1 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year, while the minimum temperature settled at 5.8 degrees Celsius -- a notch below the seasons' average.
