A dense fog has envoloped Delhi on Christmas morning.
Delhi woke up to Christmas under a thick blanket of fog. The weather conditions delayed a total of 54 flights and cancelled 10 at the Delhi airport. 108 trains were also affected as of Thursday morning, as cold wave conditions continued in the city.
Of the delayed flights were 12 international arrivals and six international departures. Domestic flights took a bigger hit, with 14 delayed arrivals and 22 delayed departures. Of the 10 flights that have been cancelled were three arrivals and seven departures.
The dense fog has also delayed trains across the board, both inbound and outbound. A total of 90 trains have been delayed, 13 rescheduled and five cancelled.
