New Delhi: A private security guard with a Muthoot finance outlet in south Delhi's Govindpuri area opened fire with his revolver, killing two employees of the unit and grievously injuring two others Thursday evening. He then fatally shot at himself, police said.
"The incident was reported around 6.45 p.m. when a security guard of the company opened fire at four employees. He later shot himself in the head," said a police official.
The victims were employees at the same outlet.
The victims included two men and two women. The men died, while the women have been admitted to the AIIMS in a critical condition, added the official.
According to police, the 23 year-old guard, Visha Ram Singh, who is from Uttar Pradesh, was apparently frustrated at not getting leave from the office for a long time.
