Dense fog engulfs Delhi again, 15 flights delayed
New Delhi: The national capital was blinded by dense fog on a chilly morning today slowing down traffic on the roads and disrupting air and rail traffic.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.6 degree Celsius, two degrees above normal, early this morning, the Met Department said.

The department has predicted thunderstorms with rain tomorrow and said that the temperature would oscillate between 11 and 20 degrees Celsius.

Fog descended on the capital this morning and the visibility fell to near-zero level.

The dense fog had an impact on the operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) and about 15 flights were delayed.

The weather also led to several trains being delayed.

Traffic on the roads slowed down to a crawl and drivers switched on the fog lights.
