An Additional Medical Superintendent of Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital died after falling from the fifth floor of the hospital today.
Sixty-one-year-old Dr RKB Chaudary, a resident of Faridabad, was injured after he fell from the fifth floor of GTB Hospital around 11 am. He was admitted to the hospital where he died during treatment, AK Singla, Deputy Commissioner Police (northeast) said.
Police is trying to ascertain whether Dr Chaudary committed suicide or fell by accident. His family members will be questioned to know whether he was depressed and had any suicidal tendencies, the officer said, adding Dr Chaudary is survived by his wife and two sons.
Despite several attempts, hospital authorities were not available for a comment on the incident.
