Domestic help allegedly raped, physically abused in Delhi

New Delhi: A teenaged domestic help was allegedly raped and physically abused by her employers' children in the capital's Jamia Nagar area.

According to the police, the girl who is from Bihar, got raped for the first time by her employers' son Nadeem, 25, two years back. Nadeem's parents apparently did not stay with them and he had been ill-treating her in their absence since the past two years.

Nadeem has been arrested and is charged with rape, causing grievous injuries, and voluntarily causing hurt. He is currently in judicial custody.

A medical examination of the girl, who had been working for the accused for the last three to four years, has confirmed rape and physical abuse.

The teenager was also allegedly tortured by her employers' daughter Fardeen. During the medical examination, burn marks were found on the girl's right hand, which were allegedly made by Fardeen.

Nadeem also used to beat the girl up regularly, according to the police.

According to the police, on April 10, the teenager was beaten up badly, after which she went to the neighbours for help.

The police are yet to arrest Fardeen and her mother Juhi.
