Delhi:
An 18-month-old son of a South Delhi businessman has been kidnapped allegedly by a teenaged domestic servant employed barely 10 days ago.
Delhi Police today declared a reward of Rs 50,000 for anyone providing information about the child and released the sketch of the suspect.
Ishaan, who is 1.5 feet tall and has golden hair and a round face, was kidnapped allegedly by the maid Seema (19) from his house in south-east Delhi's Maharani Bagh yesterday, a senior police official said.
A case has been registered against Seema, who hails from Jharkhand.
"We have declared a reward of Rs 50,000 to those who provide information regarding the boy and the maid," the official said.
Ishaan is the son of businessman Vikram Singh, who owns a showroom in Khan Market.
"The family had employed the maid ten days ago without any verification," the official said.
