New Delhi: A 32-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by two people after he asked them not to urinate at a public place near his house in New Delhi, police said today.

Brahmaprakash, a driver by profession, was allegedly stabbed in Daulatpur village in Shahbad Dairy area of west Delhi around 11 pm on Wednesday.

Police said a heated argument ensued between Brahmaprakash and the two men after he saw them urinating near his house.

"Initially, we received a Police Control Room (PCR) call regarding quarrel between two groups. A police team reached the spot and helped resolve the matter," said a police officer.

"But the accused returned to the spot later and stabbed the victim with a sharp object," the officer said.

Police said that Brahmaprakash died from stab injuries in a nearby hospital.

"There were four-five stab wounds on the victim's body that led to his death," the officer said.

Police said the attackers, who are missing still on the run, reside in a rented accommodation in a nearby area and work in a wholesale market.
