New Delhi: A 45-year-old British national, who was in an inebriated state, today created a ruckus at Indira Gandhi International Airport by breaking a firm alarm box.
The incident was reported around 4 AM when the British national, identified as Gabriel, broke the fire alarm box situated near food court at Terminal 3.
Police said as the matter has been reported in transit and no one has come forward to complain against him. No FIR has been registered against him.
Gabriel arrived at Terminal 3 from London at 1.30 AM and had a connecting fight to Tokyo.
Later, he allegedly broke the fire alarm after consuming liquor at the food lounge.
"Gabriel has also suffered some injuries in his hand. Doctors gave first-aid to him," said an official.
The official also said his flight was scheduled to Tokyo this evening.
