DTC, Delhi Traffic Police Launch Checking Drive for Smooth Traffic

New Delhi: With a view to maintain smooth operations of buses and traffic on the road, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and Delhi Traffic Police have launched a special checking drive against traffic violations and encroachments.

DTC and Delhi Traffic Police are working in coordination and during a joint checking drive today they removed the unauthorized parking lots for private vehicles at DTC bus stops.

During the drive, around 440 vehicles were fined and six vehicles impounded," DTC spokesperson R S Minhas said
