New Delhi: Eight women pickpockets were arrested from Kashmiri Gate metro station in north Delhi on Thursday, said the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which guards the Delhi Metro.
According to CISF, the arrest came following a complaint from one of the woman passengers at the station.
The arrested women were all in the age group of 20 to 25 years.
"We received a complaint from one of the passengers and immediately arrested two pickpockets. Upon interrogation they revealed that six of their acquaintances were also present in the station. We arrested all of them," CISF spokesperson Hemendra Singh said.
