After Fire at Central Delhi Bank, All Evacuated Safely: Officials

New Delhi: A fire at a bank in Central Delhi has been extinguished, said safety officials to NDTV. Everyone has been evacuated, said AK Sharma, Delhi Fire Chief. He said nobody had been seriously injured.

20 fire engines were used  in Connaught Place at Harsha Bhawan which hosts the Oriental Bank of Commerce.

The fire was reported at 11.40 am, said sources, who added that a malfunctioning air conditioner is believed to have started the fire.
