A five-year-old girl was raped allegedly by a young chartered accountancy student in east Delhi, police said today.
The incident was reported from Ganesh Nagar of Mandawali area yesterday afternoon when the girl was at her grandmother's house.
The girl was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where a medical examination confirmed rape, police said.
The 24-year-old chartered accountancy student, who was living in a rented accommodation, was arrested for his alleged involvement in the crime.
