Residents in Delhi woke up to a chilly morning today with shallow fog in some areas as the minimum temperature settled at 11 degrees Celsius.
The MeT office has predicted partly cloudy skies later in the day.
The minimum temperature recorded was two notches above the season's average, a MeT Department official said. The humidity was recorded at 95 per cent at 8:30 am.
According to the Safdarjung Observatory, visibility was recorded at 200 m at 5:30 am and 400 m at 8:30 am.
"The skies will be partially cloudy. The maximum temperature is expected to hover at 26 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
Yesterday the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius and 10.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
