New Delhi:
A decomposed body of a foreign national was found in a hotel room on Thursday in the Paharganj area of central Delhi.
The room in which the woman's body was found was booked under the name of Manzoor Ahmed, a handicraft trader. Mr Ahmed had moved into that room on March 27.
Initial investigations by the police suggest that Mr Ahmed had been staying in different hotels and guest houses across Paharganj since the last five years. However, he has still not been traced.
Hotel employees have told the police that several women visited him at this guest house including the victim.
Police say the victim's passport and other documents are missing from the room because of which they haven't been able to establish her identity.
