Fry this Friday in Delhi: Temperature likely to hit 43 degrees

New Delhi: It was a hot Friday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling three notches above normal at 31.5 degrees Celsius. The weather office has forecast that the maximum temperature could shoot up to 43 degrees Celsius.

"The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain clear throughout the day," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 am was 40 per cent.

Thursday's maximum and minimum temperatures were three notches above normal at 42.7 and 31.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
