Car pulled up next to his, lone occupant asked for directions
He rolled down his window and 2 armed men appeared on either side of car
He writes they were in a well-lit area, metres away from a police post
The matter would have escaped public attention but for a Facebook post by the man, who was driving, describing the episode in chilling detail. The post has been shared since it was posted late last night more than 3,500 times.
According to Ashish Tulsian's post, the two had left a coffee shop at nearly 2.00 am and were driving home with their colleague following in a taxi. When their car reached Rajouri Garden, another car drove up to the side and the driver - the lone occupant in the other car - began asking for directions.
"It was hardly five minutes of waiting for his cab, our car engine was on, doors locked and windows rolled up. As per us, we were safe.
And then a single man driven Swift Dezire (totally unsuspecting, non-threatening) stops beside us waving us to roll down the window for directions, as I rolled down the window he asked me some random direction," Mr Tulsian has written on Facebook.

The alleged robbers fled after they saw a police patrol approaching and the couple managed to note down the other car's number. Mr Tulsian writes the scary bit is that his car had stopped in a well-lit and busy area, barely 50 metres away from a police post.
"(The) Police Patrol gypsy did not drive towards us, in fact they did not even bother. It was just the robbers ran away beacuse of their fear, not that police was even looking in that direction," he writes. After the couple complained, the police have registered a case.
"Sending the request with FIR to Commissioner, vice president's office, President's office, Home Ministry, CM of Delhi as well as PM," he writes.
