New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta today alleged "harassment" by ruling AAP government following his complaint which resulted in a probe in the proposed premium bus service by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB).

"The staff of my office were withdrawn without my knowledge and now driver of my official vehicle was being forced to return back with the vehicle at Secretariat," Mr Gupta said.

The BJP legislator has filed a complaint at the Parliament Street police station in this regard and also claimed that the driver of his official vehicle was being "forced" to return it back to the Delhi Secretariat.

Delhi ACB has launched a probe into the app-based premium bus service on Mr Gupta's complaint alleging the service was aimed at benefiting a private bus aggregator.

Addressing a press conference, Mr Gupta and Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay said the issue will be raised before Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Delhi BJP leaders will also pay a visit to Rajghat tomorrow to pray for "good sense" of the Kejriwal government, Mr Upadhyay said alleging that AAP dispensation was acting against Mr Gupta in a "revengeful" manner.

The premium bus service scheme was earlier red-flagged by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on the ground that his approval was not taken before its launch.
