New Delhi:
The Delhi police on Monday claimed to have seized 65 kg of contraband hashish valued at around Rs.32.5 lakh and arrested six people in this connection.
According to the police, a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team intercepted a vehicle in Piragarhi area of west Delhi Sunday night following which the seizure was done.
"Among those arrested were two people from Nepal who were the receivers of the contraband which was concealed under the seat covers. The arrests followed a tip-off," a senior police official said.
