It was a hazy morning in New Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 15.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky would remain partly cloudy in the day ahead with mist/haze most likely to occur on Wednesday morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Meteorological office, maximum temperature is likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 94 per cent while the visibility at the same time stood at 700 metres.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 31 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 14.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
