Police detained a person from Paharganj area in connection with hoax bomb call incident at Odeon cinema in Delhi's Connaught Place.
Security officials were sent into a tizzy after a man claimed to have planted a bomb at Odean, a popular cinema hall in Connaught Place.
Several police teams, fire tenders and bomb disposal squads were rushed to the Odeon complex, and the premises were evacuated, a Delhi Fire Department official said.
"The call was received at the police control room and the building is being thoroughly inspected," Additional DCP (New Delhi) Romil Baniya said.
