It was a hot and sultry day in the national capital as rains continued to evade the city. The MeT office has predicted generally cloudy sky tomorrow with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas.
The day temperature was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius, which was one degree above normal for this part of the year and 2.3 points up from yesterday's 35.2 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperature too remained one notch above normal at 28.4 degrees Celsius, nominally higher than yesterday's 26.9 degrees Celsius.
The maximum humidity level was recorded at 87 per cent, while the minimum was 59 per cent.
