It was a hot day in the national capital on Saturday with the mercury settling close a little above 38 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal, a weather department official said.
The humidity in air oscillated between 51 per cent and 74 per cent.
The weather department has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. Thunder activities are expected in some areas," the official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow will be around 38 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively, he said.
On Friday, the maximum temperature had settled at 39.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
