Hot Tuesday in Delhi, no relief in sight
New Delhi: Delhi was sweating again on Tuesday although the maximum temperature dipped a bit, but stayed three notches above normal at 40.6 degrees Celsius. Wednesday is expected to bring no relief.

The day's minimum temperature was five degrees above normal at 33.3 degrees Celsius, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The humidity levels were between 32 and 23 per cent.

According to IMD, Wednesday would be hot and sunny while the skies would remain clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 40 and 32 degrees Celsius respectively.

Monday's maximum temperature settled five notches above the normal at 42.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum was three degrees above normal at 31.2 degrees Celsius.
