It was a hot and humid morning in New Delhi today.
The Meteorological Office has forecast an overcast day.
The minimum temperature in the morning was 27.5 degrees Celsius, slightly above the season's average.
"Light rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in some areas of the city. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 77 per cent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 35.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum was 25.7 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
