Today's morning was sultry in New Delhi with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in some areas in the day, the Meteorological Office said.
"It will be a cloudy day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The humidity at 8.30 am was 81 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 28.0 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
