A bicycle rider and a pedestrian were killed when they were hit by two cars after collision in east Delhi's Vivek Vihar area in New Delhi on Monday evening.
The incident took place around 5:35 pm when a car was hit by SUV on road number-56 near the Ram Prastha bus stand, police said.
Both the vehicles swirled and crossed the divider and hit a cyclist identified as Shiv Kumar, resident of MS Park area and the pedestrian identified as Vijay Bahadur, resident of Patparnganj area.
Four men in the car escaped unhurt.
The driver of the Innova car identified as Suresh was arrested and a case of rash and negligent driving causing death has been registered at Vivek Vihar police station.
