In a twist to the murder of an Uzbek belly dancer in Delhi, her friend who was being searched by the police, is also feared to have been killed.
The man arrested for the murder of 28-year-old dancer Shahnaz has allegedly "confessed" that he also killed her friend Naaz, also an Uzbek national.
30-year-old Gagan Rajkaran, who was arrested on Sunday, allegedly kidnapped and murdered Shahnaz along with Naaz, believed to be in her 40s.
Gagan has allegedly told the police during his interrogation that he also murdered his accomplice Naaz and then dumped her body in Simbhaoli in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district on October 5.
Shahnaz, who had been living in Delhi for eight years, went missing from South Delhi on September 25.

Her burnt body was found in Haryana's Samalkha on the outskirts of Delhi the next day. A postmortem revealed she had been raped, sources said.
Shahnaz and Naaz had a financial dispute, say the police. Sources say Naaz had borrowed nearly Rs 8 lakh from Shahnaz and did not want to return it.
Naaz then allegedly plotted with Gagan to kill Shahnaz.
