The section will cater to the residents of north Delhi areas such as Jahangirpuri, Samaypur, Badli, Transport Nagar, GT Karnal Road and parts of Rohini.

Trial run on the Jahangirpuri-Samaypur Badli corridor, an extension of Delhi Metro's existing Yellow Line as part of its Phase III construction, would commence Friday.
There would be three stations on the 4.4 km corridor namely Badli, Rohini Sector 18 and Samaypur Badli. Currently Jahangirpuri is one of the terminal stations on this line.
The section will cater to the residents of north Delhi areas such as Jahangirpuri, Samaypur, Badli, Transport Nagar, GT Karnal Road and parts of Rohini.
Upon operationalising after trial runs and getting the mandatory approvals, the length of the Yellow line, from HUDA City Centre to Samaypur Badli would be 49-km long.
"The ridership on this route in 2016 as per DPR is expected to be around 7,186 at Badli, 11,133 at Rohini Sector-18 and 10,262 at Samaypur Badli," a Metro official said.
