New Delhi: A city-bound domestic airline JetLite's Boeing plane from Kolkata with 122 passengers on board today made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi due to a landing gear issue.

Delhi's Air Traffic Control declared the full emergency or the JetLite flight at 13:27 hrs, and the flight landed safely at 13:39 hrs, a source said.

JetLite is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Naresh Goyal-promoted carrier Jet Airways.

"ATC declared full emergency for JetLite flight S2-4264 at 13:27 hrs after the pilot informed about the glitch in the aircraft's landing gear.

The flight landed safely at 13:39 hrs at runway 28. The passengers were also deplaned without any harm," the source said.

The full emergency was withdrawn at 14:02 hrs, he said. This is the second time in the last two months that a Jet Airways plane has been hit by the landing gear issue.

In March, 127 passengers on board the airline's B737 aircraft from Delhi had a narrow escape after its landing gear collapsed while taxiing at Mumbai airport.
