New Delhi:
A woman student of the Jawaharlal Nehru University was waylaid by an unidentified man inside the campus today who fled with her purse.
The incident happened at around 4 PM when the girl, who is a resident of Yamuna hostel, was going to the Godawari block inside the campus.
"When she reached Purvanchal hostel complex, suddenly a man came and waylaid her and fled with her purse," police said.
A case under Section 356 (assault or criminal force in an attempt to commit theft of property carried by a person) of IPC has been registered.
