The man in his 50s jumped before a train to Huda City Centre at Civil Lines station in north Delhi.

A man allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a metro train at Civil Lines station in north Delhi.
The man, who was in his 50s, has not been identified yet as he was not carrying any identity card or mobile phone, said a senior police officer, adding that no suicide note was found.
The man had first tried to jump in front of a metro train going towards Jahangirpuri from Huda City Centre on platform number 2 of Civil Lines station but had a narrow escape, said the officer.
He then went on the tracks near platform number 1 and jumped in front of a metro train going towards Huda City Centre around 12.55 pm, he added.
His neck was cut off and he was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
