New Delhi:
The Delhi Police have arrested a man and five boys for stealing more than 50 cycle rickshaws in different parts of the capital, police said on Monday.
Ram Singh and the five boys were arrested Saturday morning from Raghubir Nagar area in west Delhi.
"During the interrogation he disclosed that he along with five minors has committed theft of more than 50 cycle rickshaws from different parts of Delhi," Deputy Commissioner of Police, V. Renganathan said.
"The stolen vehicles were sold to Kalu Mandal, a resident of Karol Bagh, by Ram Singh in lieu of Rs 400-550," he added.
The five juveniles were sent to an observation home. "The hunt for main accused Kalu Mandal is on," police said.
