New Delhi: A 22-year-old man committed suicide by jumping before a Delhi Metro train in New Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
Deepak Kwatra, a resident of Jagatpuri in east Delhi, allegedly jumped on the tracks in east Delhi's Preet Vihar station around 11.50 pm on Monday.
"No suicide note was recovered. It is yet to be ascertained why he took the extreme step," said a police officer.
He had got a job with a private firm in Hauz Khas in south Delhi only four days ago, police said.
