New Delhi: A two-year-old girl had a miraculous escape while her father was killed after they were hit by a train here, police said Tuesday.

Rajesh Thakur, 25, who hailed from Madhubani in Bihar, died after the Kalka Mail hit him around 10 p.m. Monday while he was crossing a railway track in north Delhi's Samaipur Badli.

His daughter Pooja escaped with injuries.
