New Delhi:
A 24-year-old man committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving Metro train on Saturday, police said.
The incident took place at the MG Road station around 11.20 am, a police officer said. The deceased was identified as Deepak Mandela, a resident of Gurgaon.
"Deepak died on the spot after he jumped on the Metro track from platform number 2. The train was running on the Yellow line between Jahangir Puri and Huda City Centre," the officer said.
Police were yet to ascertain the reason behind the suicide.
