A combination of images from the CCTV footage shows the sequence of events after the accident
A woman who was learning to drive allegedly ran over a man, who was dragged under the wheels of her car in a west Delhi area on Wednesday.
CCTV footage showed the man, Pramod Kumar, dragged for several feet under the wheels of the car until it hit another vehicle.
The woman's husband is seen picking him up and putting him in their car. The couple took Pramod to a hospital nearby, but when he died, they reportedly left.
They were found after the police inspected footage from CCTV cameras and circulated them in the area.
The woman, Manisha Grover, was arrested from her home in Subhash Nagar. She was released on bail.
"The CCTV footages of the route were analysed and the incident was found captured in the CCTV footage installed at 2 block outside one handloom shop and it revealed that a lady was driving the vehicle at the time of accident," said senior police officer Pushpender Kumar.
