A 27-year-old man was shot at and dumped in an isolated place by unidentified men who robbed him after abducting him, police said on Friday.
Sonu Kumar was abducted by three men in a car when he was waiting for a bus in Dhaula Kuan last night. Kumar, who hails from Rohtak in Haryana, was returning to his home in Najafgarh when the incident took place.
The robbers kept Sonu in a moving car for about three hours, robbed his cash and valuables and later opened fire at him, a senior police official said.
They dumped him in Kanjhawla area on Friday morning. Police is yet to record the victim's statement as doctors said he was not fit to make any statement.
