Man stabbed to death by two for misbehaving with their sister

New Delhi: Peeved at his misbehaviour with their sister, two men allegedly stabbed to death a 23-year-old man in Dwarka in the Capital, police said on Monday.

Vinod Kumar (26) and his brother Vivek (23) were arrested from Tagore Garden Metro Station on Sunday for murdering Suraj, a student who also worked as a security guard.

Police said Suraj is a distant relative of the brothers and their neighbour and they decided to eliminate him after the victim allegedly misbehaved with their sister recently.

Suraj was found murdered on the road side in Dwarka Sector 20 on Friday and police found out that he was working as a security guard in Pacific Mall in Delhi.

"It transpired that deceased was a student of class XIth in a Government School in Rajouri Garden and was also working as a security guard in the night. He was employed by APS Security Services, Sahibabad," A K Ojha, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South-West District, said.

During investigation, police learned that deceased had a serious tiff with his neighbours over troubling a girl of the family.

Ojha said Suraj, who is married, had barged into the girl's house when she was alone which had irked her brothers who had threatened to kill him.

After a manhunt, police arrested the brothers yesterday and during interrogation, the duo disclosed that in order to take revenge from the deceased for trying to misbehave with their sister, they eliminated him.
