New Delhi:
Aligarh, the critically-acclaimed film that talks about homophobia, is all set to be screened at the JNU today.
"Excited to show Aligarh at JNU today. No better place to have conversations on society, politics and our film than this hotbed!," film's director Hansal Mehta said in a Facebook post tagging actor Manoj Bajpai.
The movie will be screened at 2 PM tomorrow at the school of arts and aesthetics.
Manoj Bajpai-starrer Aligarh, which has received wide acclaim, is based on the life of Aligarh Muslim University professor Ramchandra Siras who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. He later committed suicide.
Mr Mehta said on Twitter, "Don't know #KanhaiyaKumar enough to be a supporter. But I support his right to dissent. And I support my right to dissent."
