New Delhi:
A Maoist extremist wanted for the killing of a Jharkhand Police official was nabbed by Delhi Police's crime branch from northwest Delhi's Rohini area, police said on Friday.
Police officials claim the man, identified as Pradeep Kumar Singh, 40, was involved in several crimes, including the murder of Jharkhand's Lohardaga district Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar in 2000.
Singh was nabbed on Thursday.
Additional Commissioner of Police (crime) Ashok Chand told IANS that "Singh had fled after killing Kumar and was hiding in the area for some time."
