A huge fire broke out at a slum near Sadar Bazar in Old Delhi this evening.
30 fire engines are at the spot trying to control the blaze. Sadar Bazar is a popular market for wholesale items.
Police sources say the fire started with a short circuit and spread quickly to surrounding huts. So far, there have been no reports of any injuries.

However, an eye-witness claimed that the fire began due to cylinder blasts in the slum.
"There is massive fire here, and from what I know is that cylinder blasts also have taken place in the slums," the eye-witness told news agency ANI.
