Massive search on for 18-month-old Ishan

New Delhi: Delhi police have launched a massive manhunt for the domestic help who allegedly kidnapped an 18-month-old child from Maharani Bagh on Sunday evening.

Fifteen teams are trying to locate the toddler. They have released a sketch of the domestic help and have also announced a reward of Rs 50 thousand for information.

Little Ishaan was taken to the park by the domestic help who was appointed only 10 days back.

The employers did not check the domestic help's background and there was also no police verification done.

"Unfortunately there was no previous contact or address or any reference of the domestic help, she was employed in good faith," said Virendra Chahal, Joint Commissioner of Police, Delhi.

It's more than 48 hours that the domestic help has vanished with the child. There has been no ransom call so far.
