New Delhi:
After experiencing pleasant weather for last few days, Delhiites today experienced a relatively cold day as light showers and breeze brought back chill in the capital.
Though mercury remained above normal, light rain and breeze brought the maximum temperature down.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 20.8 degree Celsius, a notch above normal, but down from yesterday's 24.1 degree Celsius.
The minimum, however, was recorded three degrees above normal at 9.7 degree Celsius and up from previous day's 8.3 degree Celsius.
The city received a total of 0.4mm rainfall through the day, the MeT department said.
There was no fog last night, but the IGI airport witnessed shallow fog after the rains. The MeT office, however, said dense fog may disrupt flight operations tomorrow.
The Weatherman has forecast generally cloudy sky for tomorrow with fog in the morning. There is also a possibility of rain or thunderstorm in some areas.
The maximum and minimum temperature would be around 19 and 11 degree Celsius respectively, it said.
