Mercury in the Capital dipped on Tuesday as the city woke up to early morning showers. The minimum temperature today stood at 14.6 deg C, the same as yesterday.
The MeT department has predicted more spells of rain for the day. The city has received 6.4 mm of rain in the last 24 hours.
The first week of February saw the temperatures rise well above the normal levels, but a spell of rain early last week saw temperature dipping.
According to MeT statistics, the record for the highest maximum for the month of February was 34.1 deg C in February 2006. The record minimum is 1.6 deg C on February 9, 1982.
