The national capital woke up to a hot morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 28.6 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature, two notches above the season's average, was two degrees more as compared to yesterday's 26.4 degrees Celsius.
The maximum is likely to be around 43 degrees Celsius.
The MeT office has forecast that the sky will be mainly clear through the day although there is possibility of dust or thunderstorm towards the evening.
Humidity was 55 per cent at 8.30 am.
Yesterday, the Palam observatory had registered a high of 46.4 degrees Celsius, the highest so far this season while the Safdarjung observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 43.7 degrees Celsius.
