A minor fire broke out in a five-star hotel in the heart of the national capital this evening but no one was injured in the incident, fire brigade officials said.
The blaze on the top floor of the 18-storeyed Hotel Lalit on Barakhamba Road near Connaught Place was reported at around 5:50 PM, they said.
The fire broke out in some waste material kept in a room near the air handling unit of the hotel, they said.
Twelve fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the blaze in minutes, they said.
No one was injured in the incident.
