New Delhi: An 11-year-old girl, missing from her house, was found dead and stuffed in a dustbin near her house in the national capital. Police say, sexual assault before the killing has not been ruled out.
The body of the girl, who had come to Delhi from Bihar a month and a half ago, was found in south Delhi's Pul Prahladpur neighbourhood around 10 pm on Saturday. There was an injury mark on her head.
The victim, who had been living with her brother, was missing from her house since Saturday evening, said a police officer.
"It seems that she was raped before her murder. But, it will be too early to say anything before the post mortem report," said the officer.
