New Delhi:
A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a transport company owner in the national capital when she approached him in search of a job on Sunday.
According to police, the victim, who has studied up to Class 8, was sexually assaulted by the transporter CM Kashyap on Sunday evening at his office in west Delhi's Punjabi Bagh where she approached him in search of a job.
"Kashyap also threatened the victim with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone. But the victim informed her family members who registered a case Monday. The victim's medical report confirmed rape," said a police officer.
Kashyap, who is in his 30s, is absconding.
